About SANA

A movement for safer roads, one decision at a time

SANA (Safe and Noble Actions) is a road-safety awareness initiative promoting safer and more responsible behaviour on South African roads.

Why SANA exists

Every day, millions of South Africans share the road: driving to work, catching a taxi, walking to school, riding to deliveries, cycling home. Most of the time, getting there safely comes down to small decisions made in a moment.

SANA exists to make those decisions easier. We share simple, practical and memorable road-safety education that people can use straight away and pass on to others.

Our message

Every trip. Every driver. Every time.

Road safety isn't something we do once. It's a habit we choose on every trip, whether we're behind the wheel, on a bike, on foot or in the passenger seat.

Who SANA is for

SANA is for everyone who uses South African roads: motorists, passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycle riders, parents, learners, employers and communities.

Our name is our promise
